That video is very good. There is so much of a gray area regarding breast health. Mammogram's pick up most tumors but not all... if they see something suspicious they send you to ultrasound... but ultrasound will not pick up all tumors either.

I am currently in limbo... I had a density on my first "baseline" mammo three weeks ago and then was called back for an ultrasound. They saw something suspicious on ultrasound so they core biopsied it. When they biopsy a site they leave a metal tiny clip so that you go immediately back to the mammo machine for an image. They look to see if the thing they biopsied is the suspicious thing they saw on mammo... well, I never knew that the two sites might not correlate. So, NO the site they biopsied was not the site that was suspicious on mammo.. so back in for a few more mammo views... and now am told..it is probably dense tissue and to wait six months for repeat mammo and ultrasound. The thing they biopsied was a papilloma and was not cancer.
I am trying to find peace in this... my gyn said he could try and push for a breast MRI if I was going crazy waiting.

SIGH.
Get those mammos!!!! This was my first one... didn't think anything would show up as I am only 42.. I am learning different.

After reading about IBC, I would have you doctor push for the breat MRI. You don't want to wait too long if it is IBC and six months can make all the difference.

I'm praying for you too. Ladean

I just tried the link again and it is working. Maybe try copying the link directly into your browser and see if that works.

you have to wait awhile to load up. Sometimes your computer have a restriction on downloads so check your anti-virus or something like that.

If you can download it, and you did wait til it finished downloading, you probably need the software to play it. I think Realplayer is what you need although I am not sure if it work with window media.

I wish my plan paid for MRI's instead, because they find so many more cancers and are so much less painful.

Hmm, the op link said the page could not be found.
Besides causing cervical cancer, the HPV virus causes upwards of 50% of breast cancers, lung cancers, and head, neck, throat and mouth cancers, etc. The latest estimates are 80-90% of the population has been infected, with only a handful of the over 100 HPV types being cancer causing types. One cannot know if they have been infected with a cancer causing type until diagnosed, so vigilance in screening is a must.
