I believe it's Elijah and Enoch because of Hebrews 9:27~ it's appointment unto man once to die and then the judgement. Elijah and Enoch haven't died yet. Just my humble opinion for whatever it's worth

Quick Reply:
I believe it is Moses and Elijah. The miracles that are preformed in Revelation are the same miracles that Moses and Elijah preformed. Also, if you study the Jewish wedding during Jesus' time there was a "friend of bride" and "friend of the groom". Moses is seen as "friend of the bride" in numerous occasions where he betrothed Israel to God. Elijah is seen as the "friend of the groom" in that John the Baptist (who was the Elijah to come) said he was friend of the groom. We the marriage of the bride and groom are consummated in heaven they will come down to earth and give witness to the effect. Also, both Moses and Elijah were on the Mt of Transfiguration.

I thought it would be good to look into the scriptures for clues to the two witnesses. (Who they are and who they are not.)

Some say Moses and Elijah. Others feel Enoch and Elijah. What do you all think?

I would like to make this a serious study, but am open to much feedback.

I will start off by saying I believe that Moses can not be one of the two. Simply because he died and G-d buried him. In order for him to stand in Jerusalem he would need a body. Then he would have to lay dead in the street during the tribulation. According to scripture after the rapture we are changed. Wouldn't this also be the same for Moses? This mortal must put on immortality. How then could he lay dead in the streets? :idunno

Enoch and Elijah however are the only two that were caught up to heaven without seeing death. According to scripture they were not the first fruits, our Lord was. So as it was with Lazarus, they must see death.

Any comments?

This is always something I wondered about... I'd imagine it would be those that never saw death.
