Homosexuals use God to justify their lifestyle

This story makes me sick. I have to agree with Phil Magnan on this one. There are churches out there that are for homosexuals, and preach that God's Holy Word justifies their lifestyles. I have a hard time believing these people are even close to being Christians.

Oh Lord come back and take us from this awful place, I'm ready to come home!!!

Maybe I mistyped. I meant to say they use His name to justify their lifestyles and spread their agenda, and call people who call them out on their sin blasphemers. They disregard His Word. There are other people who, when they truly accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, turned away from homosexuality. It shows me that if God will turn them from their sins, and they not only reject it, but try to get others to participate in it, then they cannot be true Christians, but I still pray for their souls and that God may change their hearts.

This is clearly against God's Word. Keep the "church" lifted in prayers because we all need the Holy Spirit to convict and lead us on that narrow path to His Kingdom. Pray for believers to have wisdom and discernment.

In Christianity we're supposed to hate sin but love sinners, but that's not the same as accepting or even tolerating behavior that's sinful. Paul told the Corinthians to expel an immoral brother from the fellowship. (1 Cor. 5:1-11) Later, when he admitted his sin and asked their forgiveness, Paul told them to restore him. (2 Cor. 2:5-11)


The Lord is always working toward restoration and reconciliation, even if it takes an entire lifetime, and so should we. While leaving no question as to where you stand on his behavior, and why, be sure to continue expressing your love for your brother-in-law and your desire to be reconciled. Pray that God will keep all your hearts open to His will in accomplishing this.

Instead God will encourage you to OVERCOME this sin. They have it completely backwards.

And how do they use the Bible to support their claims? The article makes no clear reference to that
Well, they're probably not terribly concerned about what the Bible has to say... after all, "God loves EVERYone" in their view (of course, He does love everyone--and hates everyone's sin--but that doesn't mean everyone will spend eternity with Him).

homosexuality is a piece of that BIG melting pot - Alot of people are going to be deceived with LIES that will send them straight to HELL. We gotta stop playing around with people's eternity. My cousin told me that if I couldn't accept his lifestyle then we are to never to talk again. I told him I chose God over him, and any family member. I told him sorry that he felt that way and to have a good life. He doesn't want to believe the truth. He said the old testament doesn't have anything to do with this life now. I told him that it also says it in the new testament. He didn't want to hear that. I wasn't going to argue the truth with him. Freewill is everyone's choice. But when he stands before Christ - he will have to give an account. Just like I will have to give an account if I never stood my ground and told him where I stood.
