Gender icon.

I am not sure if i am the first one bringing this up, probably not.

Anyways is ther a way we can put a "gender" icon somewhere next to our advatar, perhaps the universal sex symbols, so we could know who we are talking to. I found myself quoting people with the wrong gender remark.

i have wondered if that would work too... i think it could. it could be optional of course. when i first started coming online i used a female name and got pounced on by every geeky male reject on the interwebz. so i went with what i assumed was a gender neutral name and now most people think i'm a male. :doh i have even been accused of being a sexist pig and a chauvinist before :pound

You're right... it would be wrongheaded to deprive the mods of a job, or to have them twiddling their thumbs during their work hours because they don't have enough to do... :doh TT should learn to think before he types :doh
