That's shocking ... that we have gotten this bad. Why doesn't anyone care? What if that were them laying on the floor dying, or someone they loved? THEIR daughter or wife or sister or mother? Wouldn't they want someone to help them? Even if it's just to call 911? My goodness, the one lady HAD a cellphone ON HER and instead of using it to call 911 (a FREE call everywhere!!!) she used it to take a picture of the dying woman and then stepped over her and walked away. Shocking! Horrible and sad.

God forbid anything ever happen to my loved ones or me .... would anyone care at all or offer the slightest bit of help? Just a phone call to 911? Or would we be just good for a curious picture snapped on someone's cellphone camera and then left to die? Why doesn't anyone care about anyone else anymore ... even to the point of death? So very, very sad and shocking. :(

The police cannot release the video because it is an ongoing investigation. I saw the dead woman's sister on the news. My heart went out to her.

This is so senseless.

These people should be arrasted and charged with accessary to murder - and/or failer to help (can't remember the rest)

Did they think she was a bum or drunk or something? That's the only thing I can think of that would come even close to warniting ignoring her and STILL though i would have done something even if I thought that.

Years ago, I worked for a short time at one of the gambling boats in our area (before I was saved). A man had a heart attack and collapsed while waiting to cash out his chips. Before the paramedics got there, people were STEPPING OVER HIM to cash out their chips, etc. When paramedics came up to work on him to save his life, they had to rope off 4 slot machines to give them enough room to work. People were actually arguing with the medics that they should be allowed to play those machines! I could hardly believe that people could be so cold and so greedy.

Although there are a lot of headlines about terrorists, etc. these days that make me believe we are in the End Time, but it is realy indicators like this that reveal exactly how far our society has slipped into darkness.
