Years ago, I worked for a short time at one of the gambling boats in our area (before I was saved). A man had a heart attack and collapsed while waiting to cash out his chips. Before the paramedics got there, people were STEPPING OVER HIM to cash out their chips, etc. When paramedics came up to work on him to save his life, they had to rope off 4 slot machines to give them enough room to work. People were actually arguing with the medics that they should be allowed to play those machines! I could hardly believe that people could be so cold and so greedy.
Although there are a lot of headlines about terrorists, etc. these days that make me believe we are in the End Time, but it is realy indicators like this that reveal exactly how far our society has slipped into darkness.
What a story!!!! It's hard for me to even grasp it all. How can people be so cold and heartless? I know things have quickly gone from bad to worse in our nation and world but stories like this and what happened in Wichita still SHOCK ME!!!! Where's the empathy?

people make me sick sometimes....
As bad as this is....I think most people would try to help. We can't judge His world by the actions of a few. :candle

I understand what you are saying, but unfortunately people thinking only of themselves and being rude and "all about me" is becoming more and more the norm. (Maybe not to this extent, stepping around a dying woman to get their Slurpees, but it won't be long til that is how the world is). We (society) are on a fast decline, and we need to pray, pray, pray.

My son asked me about this and why anyone would let this happen. Then he thought for a while and said is it because of the times we live in. I only had one answer, yes. May the Lord Jesus hear our prayers.

You are probably right that it's going to get worse......Jesus will make all things right again eventually though. I can't wait. :)

This is sick. This goes beyond just being sick! Everyone gawking and taking pictures, in my opinion are no better than the one who did the stabbing in the first place. They contributed to her death.
I can understand some people not wanting to get involved fearing they may be stabbed next, but to do nothing is dispicable. At the very least, people can leave the store, and call 911 as their driving off. I'm sure some did, but woe to those who delighted in this scene and took pics/video of the dying young woman. It's probably being broadcasted on youtube right now by these cold hearted people.
This is just another sad, sick example of how depraved the human race really is, and getting worse and worse.

When I read this story a few days back I knew it would become a thread on RR, and with good reason. Like others are saying, there are no words, but it is so emblematic of the world we live in. Sure signs of what were in those sick people's hearts.
