I thought I should share this because the Lord has blessed me with a job that I love...and he did it under circumstances that just amaze me.
About 8 years ago I was saved. I found myself in a bad place. I was hanging with the wrong people...etc. I was also working at a job that was just full of way too much moral decline. I worked in a factory where the management was funneling drugs through to the workers who were selling it. (I know its hard to believe but it really isn't). I sincerely believe that the Lord wanted me to free myself from that place. More or less to get out of the situation and start over. So I took a leap. I left the job without knowing how I would pay my bills. To make a long story short I went to a college town about two hours away to look for a new job. I ran into a couple of friends from high school and one of them needed a ride back to our hometown. I didn't really want to give the guy a ride because he was part of a crowd that I was not affiliated with in school. However I knew that was in need and that a Christian would do what is right. So I gave the guy a ride back home. During the ride I told him he could listen to whatever music he likes (agains my better judgement). He switched it to a local Heavy Metal station. Immediately I heard an advertisement for job openings at a company that was hiring entry level technicians. I memorized the phone number and called it when I got home. They asked me to come in for an interview and hired me on the spot. I HAVE BEEN WORKING IN THE INDUSTRY FOR ALMOST 8 YEARS NOW. I would never have listened to that radio station if I hadn't give that guy a ride. Which I would never have found a career that I love. Its just incredible how God can work things like this into our lives. Praise Jesus!:)
