I believe there will be a gap of not more than 3 months and 10 days. Here's why:

In three of the Gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke) a woe is given about the next time that Israel will have to flee for safety: " And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!"

Now think about this for a moment. Why is the woe not for them that are with child, give suck, or have little children? How much different is a two year old from a three or four year old when you are told to FLEE! Could it be that there will not be any little children around?

If so, then what happened to all the little children? Gone in the Rapture.

Let's say that the Rapture occurs in the winter (some conjecture during the fall feasts), but let's choose Jan 1st, year **00 just for the heck of it. Then the next possible opportunity for a child to be born would be nine months plus 10 days (interestingly, 40 weeks) later in the following fall. This takes us to Sept. 12th, year **00 (using 30 day months of the 360 day calendar).

The Jewish custom in Christ's day was to not wean a child before the age of two, but before the age of three. So now we have that child, born on Sept. 12th, as a suckling child until at least Sept. 12th of the year **02 but not after Sept. 12th of the year**03. So from the time of conception to earliest possible weaning would be 33 months and 10 days (9 months, 10 days + 2 years (24 months)). From the time of conception to the LAST possible weaning would be 45 months and 10 days (additional 12 months to child's age of 3). So between the dates of Sept 12 of **02 and Sept 12 of **03.

Keeping in mind this date...the Rapture occurs on Jan 1 year **00. The AC is revealed the next day giving us the AOD 42 months later. This takes us to June 2nd of the year **03 at the earliest. Now for the children all to be of suckling age, the AOD would have to occur before Sept 12 of the year **03. Thereby giving us a time frame falling between the Rapture and the revealing of just 3 months and 10 days (June 2nd as earliest AOD and Sept 12th as latest).

(Maybe enough time for the Gog/Magog war?)

If you can get it, try to find the movie "A Thief in the Night". It was made by local residence in a small town in Iowa back in 1970 (I believe was the year). It doesn't have the actual "signing" in the movie. Just a story line about three young women. My point in mentioning this movie is it gives the implication of a time lapse between the actually catching up and the time the AC comes on stage full swing.

There are three other movies in this series: "A Distance Thunder"; "Image of the Beast"; and "The Prodical Planet". To be honest the last two are sort of "boring", but interesting how they closed the series. If I recall it correctly they used "three months" between the "disappearing" and the beginning of the "tribulation period."

I remember a Thief in the Night. Our church showed it and it was the first time I ever heard that Jesus was going to come back again. I'd love to see it again.
