If you had no knowledge of Scripture, or at least prophecy, how could anyone resist the opportunity to protect their child or loved one from abduction, or wondering aimlessly lost. I'll not blow my own horn here but from the moment I first heard of Digital Angel, I knew how it would be marketed. Look at the XMark website. A newborn baby? Who doesn't want to embrace that child and protect him with their own life? What about that kindly, loving grandfather who used to play with you as a child, always adored you, but now is suffering from the onset of dimentia? How could you resist using "RoamAlert" (or maybe Rome alert! would be a little more like it) to be sure he never gets lost?
The marketing here is a slamdunk...for those who have never read the Scripture. I am like most of you. I do not believe this is the Mark of the Beast...yet. But in my opinion, the ONLY difference is that at this point it is not MANDATORY to demonstrate your allegiance to the single world government and economy. I think the technology is readily apparent and the sell is a gimme. I just pray that our belief that Rapture occurs before the true Mark comes into play is absolutely correct. All it takes right now is one earthshaking event to throw the world's masses into complete disarray. That will make such an identifying mark not only desirable but a necessity. And, in my opinion, the man is waiting in the wings right now, just offstage, to ride in on his white horse with his bow and crown, ready to solve the world's problems.:ohno
:pray
:thumb Right on! I'm glad someone said what I have felt. After the rapture and the mark (whatever it may be) comes into play, I don't think it's going to be bam boom here it is. IMHO leading up the the MOB it's going to be subtle. Like it was said above, I, too, pray that our belief that the Rapture occurs before the true Mark is correct. The talk of the National ID card. If you think of the problems with illegal immigration (hot topic here in AZ), the National ID thing sounds good. Well, that will cost a lot of money to produce, so hmm, let's think of a way to track people coming/going out of the country. Remember when people thought the SSN was the mark? First you have the card, then RFID, scanning the eye, and eventually just getting a chip. The point is, it can happen so subtly that to people who don't know or don't believe will fall for it hook, line, and sinker. 9/11 probably has made one of the first steps towards the "acceptable" steps in tracking people's movements. Sorry I know what I'm trying to say and you can understand my meaning. :scratch
