Yes, this passage is often referenced in terms of the Rapture.

You are 100% right Matt 25 is about the rapture. And your second question WhenJesus talks about not knowing when He is coming He is referring to the rapture. Because we can figuar out when the second coming is if we are raptured that is. The second coming will be 7 years after the signing of the treaty.

Here is a good thread about the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Bridesmaids):
http://www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=74947&highlight=10+virgins
Where it says, in Matthew 25:10NASB, "... and the door was shut", it is referring to the Wedding Feast, which takes place after the tribulation period. We, the Church, will have been with Christ well-before this. It is referring to those who go through the tribulation period and are awaiting His Second Coming. :hat
Here is a little bit by Jack Kelley (though I think he has more... I'll try to find it):

Here's another:

By the way, I suggest reading through this whole thread :) (which I just noticed was merged with the one I linked above. :lol2 )
I just wanted to add a passage that also shows that this will take place after the tribulation period, and is referring to those who go through the trib:
Luke 12:35-37
35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding [after trib; with His Bride]; that when he cometh [second coming] and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them [at the wedding feast].
I believe this will take place on the earth, for it says, "when He cometh". :hat (See also Revelation 16:15)

oil= Holy spirit "saved"
no oil, no Holy Spirit "not saved"
unprepared= unsaved
these maids are guests, not the bride
i think they are symbolic of trib saints, but not of the church- she is the bride and has already begun the festivities.
sorry i'm not more articulate.
This is how I understand it as well.

of the page...
The following is copied from this:
So the Church must be raptured, "caught up", & Satan fights whoever is left over, the tribulation saints; those of the 7
churches who were spewed out into the time of testing, and repent and keep the commandments, and those foolish virgins in
Matthew 25 who were expecting Christ's return, but were too busy with the world and caught unprepared.
The man child ruler Raptured in Rev 12
...is Christ and the Church (Christ is the head, the Church is the Body)
2 things:
1) This seems to indicate that not all Christians will be raptured. Is it not the doctrine of Rapture Ready that all Christians are raptured?
2) Is this rapture in chapter 12 the same one as pictured in chapter 4 of Revelation? IOW, there aren't multiple raptures, which I also believe that 1 rapture is the belief of RR.

those of the 7 churches who were spewed out into the time of testing
This is partial rapture thinking. Unless it is clarified that unsaved people in that church enter the trib, then you are right, it appears to promote multiple raptures.

... and those foolish virgins in
Matthew 25 who were expecting Christ's return, but were too busy with the world and caught unprepared.
My take on that one is that there is the first resurrection. Period.
About the teaching of the virgins and the groom...note that ALL of the ten virgins were sleeping [Matt 25; 5] just as all the apostles were sleeping as Jesus prayed in the garden before HIS arrest.
And then Peter who was also one of the sleepers in the garden wrote that mockers would come in these last days saying ..'where is the promise of HIS coming'?
I believe that these are the foolish who has no oil for their lamps.
It has been taught that these scoffers are unbelievers..I disagree.
Unbelievers are just that... they care nothing about some 2nd advent be they some jihadist militant or some thug somewhere......................................... .........................

So, you think all 10 virgins are part of the church and will be raptured?

I'm not expert in this so I hope you understand....
As a Christian we must "rightly divide the Word of God". Which means that some of the Promises are for the Jews and Some are for the Church. We as Gentiles were to follow Paul. The Lord gave to Paul, the Gospel of Grace....which we are in today.
Matthew 25, Jesus is talking to the Jews. They will be in the Tribulation. They are looking for their Messiah (which He come at the Second Coming) Remeber Jesus came for the Jews first. Matthew 24 is speaking of Tribulation times, and Matthew 25 is following up on this. We (Christians) were later grafted in later. The the ten Virgins spoken in Matthew 25, represent the Jews, those who accepted Jesus Christ and those who have not. In Mattew 24:14 is speaking of the 144,000 who will be preaching the Gospel of the Kingsom. Notice: The Gospel of Grace is not spoken of. Why? The Church has already been Raptured. Again on verse 16 of Matthew 24, Jesus says, "then let those in Judea flee to the mountains." And later in verse 20, Jesus says, " And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath." Again, Jesus is again talking to Jews.
There are many Churches that teach that they are "New Israel", and that God is finished with the Jews. Wrong! God is not finished with them. In the Book of Daniel, you will see that prophecy will be fulfilled and Israel will be restored. It is good to read Daniel along with Revelations, it helps to see things more clearly.
We as Christians, need to know what Paul has to say, The Church was a "MYSTERY" and was first revealed to Paul. Ephesians 3:1-11. The Kingdom was no Mystery. The OT prophets describe it in glowing terms. That Gentiles were to be saved was no Mystery, Romans 9:24-30. The "Mystery" was, that God was going to form an entirely "new thing" composed of both "Jews" and "Gentile," to be called the "Chruch". The Chruch is never referred to as a Kingdom only Israel is referred to a kingdom. God has His Bride, Israel. Jesus has His Bride, the Church. We must know the differences.
The Tribulation is also called "Jacob's Trouble".....because they must finish the last "seven years" of their prophecy. Those who are left behind, are Jews, Gentiles, some will be Tribulation saints both Jews and Gentiles. The rest will have taken the Mark, and worship the Anti-Christ. Remember now, those worshiping the Anti-Christ will think they are worshiping God. For Satan is the angel of light who "counterfiets" the Real Jesus Christ. Later he will reveal himself.
In Revelations 4 the door is opened and the voice says, "Come up here," after which the Chruch is never mention until 19 and coming back with Christ.
Hope I've been of some help and not a hinder.
God Bless <><:hug

1) This seems to indicate that not all Christians will be raptured. Is it not the doctrine of Rapture Ready that all Christians are raptured?
RR and the RR-BB are united in the view that all who are saved by grace through faith in Christ will be Raptured. The entire body of Christ will be removed in the Rapture. If you need further assurance of this, you can read our Doctrinal Beliefs Statement here:
http://rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=9
Is it the "foolish virgins" part that made you think there was a discrepency? The meaning of the foolish virgins has been debated quite a bit, there are many different views on who they represent. But I think pretty much everyone agrees they are not saved Christians. If you want to read more on the various views on who they are, there's a long thread here:

2) Is this rapture in chapter 12 the same one as pictured in chapter 4 of Revelation? IOW, there aren't multiple raptures, which I also believe that 1 rapture is the belief of RR.
Correct, one Rapture. Rev 4 doesn't mention the Rapture, but it mentions the Elders who represent the Raptured Saints (both Jewish and Gentile) and they are already in Heaven. So this chapter indicates that the Rapture has taken place before the Trib judgments commence. Rev 12 is a summary of sorts and does make note of the same Rapture that results in the Elders of Rev 4 being in Heaven.
