One in four women have experienced an abortion. What they don't tell you is how this procedure changes everything in you life,
I had an abortion in 1969. Not only did I break Gods law but the law of the land at the time. I have spent the last years in pain and guilt over what I did. Praise God I came in contact with a PRC (Pregnancy Resource Center) that offered a Bible study called "Forgiven and Set Free" I know I have been forgiven and washed clean with the Blood of Christ. I also have been able to forgive myself. The purpose of this thread is to offer support and comfort to anyone else out there who has been through this.
I just want you to know that you don't need to feel guilty and soiled and ruined. You really have been "forgiven and set free".

Hi jorjean,

I haven't been through what you have but I wanted to say you are very brave for opening a thread on such a sensitive issue.

God's grace is amazing and anyone who truly repents of this sin will indeed be forgiven.

I don't know this but I believe that aborted babies go immediately to Heaven and you will be reunited with your baby one day.

God bless :hug

I know my baby is in heaven, one of the processes I went through in that class I was telling you about was to pray to find out the name God had given my child and the sex of my child. He answered my prayer while I was singing worship at my church. My sons name is Paul.

That is awesome :) I'm sure Paul is waiting for you, and with current events as they are, you will be seeing your baby real soon. :nod

Hey Jorjean, I was surfing the other day on TV and Morris Cerullo (I don't usually watch him) but he has had a guest on talking about heaven. He has said alot of stuff thats not in the bible, but its nice to speculate. I too have gone through what you did and it is very hard. He said someone asked him how old we would be in heaven and he said he thought about 33 because thats the age Jesus was cruxified. He said the person asked about children or babies and aborted children and he said wouldn't it be wonderful if we were given the chance to raise them up there where it will be perfect? I cried at the thought, it blessed my heart. What a wonderful thing if its true! What a blessing that would be. We are forgiven, and I thank GOD everyday that he loves me in my fallen state. He see's us through the blood of Jesus and we are as white as snow. I am looking up and waiting to hear the trumpet and the words,"Gina, come up here!"

I have always pictured in my minds eye, my son full grown. In fact I joked with my 1st living son that I probably owed Jerry Sloan ( coach of The Utah Jazz) an apology. The father of my son was 6'10". He (my son Paul) would have been of an age to help the Jazz bring in a championship ring. I love the idea off having the opportunity to raise my child. Either way I know he is with Jesus. Thank you for your support.
I did not mean for this thread to be about me or my lose. I ment for it to be an encouragement for others who have been through the same thing. A safe place to vent and to grieve if need.

JorJean, you are INDEED a very brave, honest woman. :hug

I, too, experienced Abortion before I was saved and trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ.....

In fact, yesterday..the 7th was the anniversary of the abortion for my son, Michael. He is 19 now...and I cannot wait to see him again! I praise God that he truly forgives, and his capacity to show me Mercy is endless!

God loves women that have had Abortions, and it is by His Son Jesus, ...that I am even able to smile once again. I cannot wait for that moment when I am able to embrace my family! God is truly an awesome, loving, and NEVER will leave us.

:hug

Thank you for sharing with us, and letting us know that we have others to speak with regarding our loss. :hug

Love in Christ, Rachel

P.S. It won't be long now guys...before we embrace our loved ones!:yeah
