HOMESCHOOLERS--Fall is near

I have a 6 year old and an 8 year old.

I already have my Switched on Schoolhouse and Beautiful Feet. It was fun watching them play this summer, I hate to put them back to work. Good thing Switched on Schoolhouse forces me to be organized and keeps track of how much we have to do.

I have enough that I could start, but my plan is to switch Story of the World with BJU Heritage Studies 2 and Apologia Astronomy with BJU Science 2. We won't be buying them until dh gets another job though. I'll start with what we have if we can't buy anything else first.

We're starting late this year, September 5th. Dd already wants to start though. We have Vacation Stations to finish though. I did some music with her because she asked to do it.

I'm still working on ordering all the curriculum. I think next year, I am going to start in the spring and use our refund to help, duh. Hindsight is 20/20. I have homeschooled 1 get reading to homeschool 2 kiddos. I plan on using lots of visuals (maybe my friends might like the new decor).
I hit Wal-mart too, I stocked up :0) I had to hide it from the kids though so we can have it this fall.

:lol2 We have a small house and our little dinning area is covered 9 or 10 months out of the year with maps, grammar and math rules.

Last year we had masking tape on our hardwood floors for number placements. It didn't work very well, the 2 year kept pulling up the tape. .:gaah

This year we are thinking HIGHER.
