Why was the thread locked? [Archive]

Just out of curiosity, I'll take a PM response. I started what I thought would be a rather tame, silly thread over in the 2008 Elections thread where we could use smilies to express our changing view of the Bush Presidency, http://www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=7691 and it was locked after only one reply?

Does that violate a rule or something, expressing our views about political figures? :scratch

We're on the same page. I was THIS CLOSE |--| to putting in my opinion of Pelosi's job after Bush too! :lol2
