One Sunday a first grade Sunday school teacher asked if anyone knew the meaning of Easter.
One little boy raised his hand and said, it's about when the pilgrims made friends with the Indians and sat dwon for a great big meal.
No said the teacher, you're thinking of Thanksgiving.
A little girl raised her hand and said, it's when we celebrate our freedom and go to see fireworks.
No said the teacher, you're thinking of the fourth of July.
A little boy then raised his hand and said, it's about a man who sadly was killed.
RIGHT! yelled the teacher!
The little boy said and then they put him in a hole.
Yes said the teacher!
Then he came out of the hole.
Yes said the teacher!
And if he sees his shadow, we have 6 more weeks of winter, but if he deosn't see his shadow...
