Count me in as one who enjoys Jack and Rexella. Do I agree 100% of the time with what they say? No, I don't. These guys are humans and as such, are not infallible. I have heard Jack say things that made me go :thinking ~ but IMHO he and Rexella love Jesus with all their hearts and truly want to see people come to salvation. I don't watch them all the time, but do try to catch them when I can.
And I agree with Ron that Jack does not believe that 2012 is the year of the Rapture ~ at least that was the impression I got.

And I'm sure you disappoint God every day.

So Berean Girl, you feel this strongly about the Van Impe's, Looks like Billy Graham is in most everything you mentioned Jack and Rexella was in. Should we start badgering him? Let us pray for a fellow brethren, if you think he or she has fallen off the path. I myself think Jack and Rexella love the Lord with all their hearts. Who are we to judge and make fun of a person (hair).
Remember, don't look at the speck in your brothers eye, rather the log in your own. :thumb

Did anyone watch Jack Van Impe last night? He made a couple of interesting statements, one was that the moon is going to blood red and he used an astronomy term for it. Also that the earth or sun was going to pass through the milky way? Or some such thing. I was just wondering if anyone knows what he was talking about and if it is verifiable? :thinking
These statements are in the book of Revelations :
The moon turning blood red , but about the sun going into the milky way ?
aaahhhhhh! NO!

When I first got saved, I loved to watch JVI. Then I backslid and only saw him occasionally. Now that I rededicated my life back to Jesus, the few times I have watch Jack, it seems as if he's gone off the deep end to some extent. But I'm not going to judge. The word says work out your own salvation with fear and trembling and I have enough to do here on my own end. LOL :scratch

The only thing I disagree with Jack on, is eternal security. He said in a reply to a question I emailed him that, "no one that does any kind of drugs can go to heaven." I find that hard to believe considering that, would be works-based theology. Also considering alcohol is a drug, as is nicotine, caffiene, etc. I personally believe salvation is for all of us who continue to fall short of the glory. Jack seems to believe you can lose your salvation. I don't. We aren't perfect, just forgiven.

I have to agree that Jack has never set a date. Actually he just says that the rapture could happen at any time....... and I would have to agree with him. I believe he is a true man of God, he has studied the word for years and years and years.

You know that bothered me too and I have also heard him say that people who are divorced and remarried can't go to heaven because the are committing adultery so I emailed him and got a response back from his staff. they said that Jack believes that all who are repentant will be saved and that he was not trying to say that you cannot be forgiven and won't go to heaven.... etc. I finally decided that because his show is so short 30 minutes, less than that with the advertiesements that I think he skips over some of the fundamental parts and doesn't explain them all over again because he's trying to save time and cram everything in.
