To point out Jack Van Impe's wrongdoings is fine. That's what RR is for. I haven't seen the show in years.
But I am dissappointed to read posts that would insult these nice women, Rexella and Mrs. Bush. It's not christain and it lowers the integrity of this website.

right - its kinda weird sometimes....
makes ya think about all kinds of crazy things :hehee
to me she does - she seems drugged ot all the time and has the same perma smile expression - she seem stepford
This is the same impression I had of Laura Bush. Though she seems nice, she also seems "plastic" and has a weirdo, vacuous look in her eye that really spooks me. Like she's been "programmed," lol.

yeah, Pat is really off, i never paid attention to either before 8 years ago, so what they were like before then, i don't know. so in an effort to be nice, i just say that they may have been good at some point.
i know JVI has had a few supporters here and boy do they get mad when anyone even hints that he may be a kook.Well, I regarded Jack as a kook from back even before his hysteria over Y2K. Nonetheless, he got me interested in studying prophecy independently, which brought me back to Christ.

some good came of it then. i came interested in Christianity through Sylvia Browne :fear
God can use anyone for good. But i agree, it does not make their teachings acceptable!

I like him, but have seen this also. He does state that 2012 is not the end of the world. It's a book he wrote. Is this the Jack we know ?

I know for a fact that 2012 is not the end of the world :hat. The Tribulation (IF it started this year) would take us seven years into the future: 2009 + 7 = 2016. Then, add 1000 more years for the Millennium: 2016 + 1000 = 3016. So, we have a bit of the way to go to the end of the world. :hehee
By the way, I lost respect for Jack back when he started lauding the Pope.

I don't think he is trying to say 2012 is the end of the world or anything. He is pointing out alot of false prophets from many different religons do claim 2012 as the end or at least a dramatic event happens. He may be trying to imply the rapture happening in 2012 which would of course be date setting. I havn't seen the video so I don't know. He does seem to believe more in a "works" type theology.
