I think Jack Van Impe has been going off the deep end for some time now. Rexella has been taking over more and more over the last years. He stumbles over scripture a lot now. I don't think he is well and haven't thought so for some time. Have to wonder who is really running this show.
I agree:ohno

I check into the forums here about once a week or so, but have noticed a lot of criticism and rudeness so refrain from conversation for the most part. I still read the articles written by Todd and Terry and all the others on the main page; but this forum is falling apart
Do you really think it is falling apart? One thing I love about the forums is that people are usually pretty honest on the forum. There is a lot to learn from others post.
I admit if many conversations discussed on the board were to come up in real life you wouldn't get to hear real opinions. A polite smile, a subject change, an indifference maybe, but on the forums people are pretty transparent and to the point.
Just because we are Christians does not mean that we are perfect. We are all growing in our walk. In the short time I have posted here I have said some pretty dumb things....daily. I use each mistake I make as something to learn from and grow.
At one point I thought about changing my screen name for a fresh start. That would have been the wrong thing to do. I just hope that people on the forum here will love me for all my warts and all, and understand we are all reconciled together in Christ. :hug

I think that Rexella is very sincere. Jack is getting older and I'm sure his memory has faded. But he does ask people at the end of his show every week about their Salvation. That means a lot to me. That is one way I measure ministers and preachers.
I don't trust any man. I listen to many, and I ask God to tell me the truth. I get the truth through the Word as well. I often question many of the 'Christians' I see and hear on television. I don't question their Salvation, I question their message. Jesus sorts it all out for me.

Don't worry we love you here. Heck I have about 5 posts in the tinfoil shed already that's why I am the tin man. I may be the TIN MAN Moderator soon :lol2 But my threads were not far fetched at all they are coming true and perhaps when they do Rapture Ready will pull them back in.

I like him, but have seen this also. He does state that 2012 is not the end of the world. It's a book he wrote. Is this the Jack we know ?

That was my understanding also.
He said the book or DVD was about prophecy and how the Mayan 2012 stuff was not right. But that the way things are going, God's plans could mean something else entirely.
Course, maybe someone could buy it and read/watch it to see what it is really about.
I imagine it would be easier to make a more informed judgment on the material if someone sees what it actually says.....................

I know for a fact that 2012 is not the end of the world :hat. The Tribulation (IF it started this year) would take us seven years into the future: 2009 + 7 = 2016. Then, add 1000 more years for the Millennium: 2016 + 1000 = 3016. So, we have a bit of the way to go to the end of the world. :hehee
By the way, I lost respect for Jack back when he started lauding the Pope.
Many people think that Dec 2012 could be the start of the Great Trib, the last half of the 7 years, which is doable still at this point in time.
I heard JVI say on Monday night that the world is NOT going to end, as promised in the bible.
We always need to keep informed on what someone actually says, good or bad. But we must always be honest on what they say also and not make accusations that are not exactly well informed.
Me, I think that things will happen when they actually happen. Whether the trib or Great Trib part starts in 2012 or not, we'll find out soon enough.
We know these things are coming.
That satan is going to start some serious trouble.
Whether satan is trying to make it appear that the Mayan calender ending being prophecy as the end of the world or the Nostradamus junk is true to confuse people from the truth of God's word, we'll still soon find out.
What I did not understand was the remarks about Rexella and Laura Bush. What do they have to do with whether JVI is bad at his job or not?
How did being a nice appearing person become "creepy"?

Did anyone watch the Tuesday am broadcast? Jack VanImpe did everything but say the Anti-Christ's name. Hmmmmmmm.......
That was the other thing I noticed - his detailed description and historical predictions of the AC and certain new leaders characteristics. Maybe he is being led by the Holy Spirit for reasons we don't know. I trust God for allowing these broadcasts to continue. :bible

i kinda felt he was a bit off a few years ago, its too bad. i really think he had genuinely good intentions at one time, but i really think he is losing it.
his wife (Rexella..?)has always freaked me out... i know a lot of people feel she is a sweetie, but i think she's very weird to me :hide
My husband does a really good Chuck impersonation: YES, THAT's RIGHT, REXELLA. He nicknamed Rexella fluffy.
