Ever have a "bad" pizza?

It was at a drive in theater many, many years ago. My husband and I had ordered a pizza, and it was going to be about 20 minutes so we went back to the car. As we were sitting there talking we could smell cheese burning. We joked that it smelled like they were burning our pizza.... Well, they were! :gaah

Yes!! Many times. Some of these mom & pop shops really don't know how to make a good pizza!

The best pizza in my area is Pizza Hut! Sounds like a good thing for thread What's for Dinner....I'll go post next!

the only one that came close to disappointment to me was from a certain national pizza chain whose crust tasted like cardboard -- I just slurped off the cheese & toppings on that one.

I'm sorry to say this but that's pretty sad if that's the best around you. If that were me, I'd move. :lol2

EDIT: I just noticed you live in NY. You can't get a good pizza up there? Now that really is sad. :gaah I do like Pizza Hut but they are FAR from the best...IMHO.
