I thought it might be fun to share some games that you play with your kids to help bridge the summer "gap".

One that I play with my kids is this:
When the kids are in the pool I throw $2-$3 worth of change in the pool. Then I shout out dollar amounts for them to dive and find. For my 6yo I modify this to just bringing me certain coins like "2 pennies" or "1 quarter".

They love it and dont realise it is helping review their math and money skills. :heh :whistle

What are some fun things you do?

My kids are all grown, but when they were vey young we used to play the color game. I would say, "I spy something green" and the kids would take turns guessing what green object in the room I had spied.
