I'm about 3/4 to the way through reading BuzzardHut's post(s) and there is a lot of really good information. I especially appreciated the section titled "Freemasonry and Christianity" because it was full of very useful Scriptural references.

Please allow a single piece of (hopefully) constructive criticism: I have one thought that concerns me... I believe the post(s) may actually contain too much information--in the sense that information about masonry is divulged which I believe was not a benefit add to the points being made against it and that just as strong of a stance could have been made without such graphic details. I think a lot of the information I could have grasped without such details. The words of Jesus come to mind:

But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
Revelation 2:24

My thought on this verse is that Jesus is sparing the believers the gory details of the "depths of Satan", beyond what is pointed out in verse 20, so that they won't have to carry any additional burden.

I believe the verse is applicable; however, I'm open for thoughts and comments on this one.

This is why Mormonism and Masons are considered part of the 'Mystery Religions (http://www.buzzardhut.net/Cath.htmhttp://)'
Listen to #1-#7
Quite an ear opener to see how satan is weaving everything together into the One World church.
It's good to learn about it but you don't have to dwell upon it daily, you can use the acquired info to lovingly warn others.

This is from one of the sites celtic posted.

Well, what is a Freemason?
A Freemason is a member of the world wide "Fraternity of Freemasons", dedicated to giving good men the philosophical tools to make themselves better, using three basic tenets of: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

I believe it. :)
Apart from true salvation, good works are just wood, hay, and stubble.

I'm not going to pay money for that. I those are convincing in any way I ask you to simply post a genral overview of the contents for us to read.

A member of my family is a freemason, so if your going to attack them, back it up.

The main reason people hate the freemasons is because they are secret, and people naturally fear the unknown.
They are well known and exposed now, thanks to this thread :thumb, and we reject their teachings in light of our love for the real Jesus and the truth of scripture, not out of fear or hatred.

And those messages (http://www.alanstreett.com/culttape.html) are worth every penny

You are really missing out

Thanks Buzz for all the material.

However, based on my experiences, perhaps out of laziness or that earlier Masons like Pike were kooks, the higher degree people aren't into the Luciferian stuff. Leastways around here.
You cannot be higher degree without pledging allegiance to Lucifer.

I was doing a research on Nimrod and stumbled on it by accident. It was in the middle of the article I was reading.

The Legend of the Craft continually confounds Masonry, Geometry, and Architecture, or rather uses them as synonymous and convertible terms. It is not, therefore, surprising that it should have selected Babylon as the birth-place, and Nimrod as the founder of what they called "the science."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nimrod_(king)
Nimrod figures in some very early versions of the history of Freemasonry, where he was said to have been one of the fraternity's founders. According to the Encyclopedia of Freemasonry: The legend of the Craft in the Old Constitutions refers to Nimrod as one of the founders of Masonry. Thus in the York MS., No. 1, we read: "At ye making of ye toure of Babell there was a Masonrie first much esteemed of, and the King of Babilon yt called Nimrod was a Mason himself and loved well Masons." However, he does not figure in the current rituals.

The Mystery Religions supposedly started with Nimrod at the Tower of Babel.

Masons are kinda like the Islamists. They say what you want to hear on the outside and do whatever on the inside.

I cant say that some of the things that masons do is all bad. Like for instance the Shriners, they help a lot of kids, but I wouldnt join them and I wouldnt support them with money. It would be like holding hands with the devil even tho doing a good deed.

My step dad was a mason. One of his sons was also a mason. One of his sons was gonna get into that, but, quit rather abruptly on account of what one of the oaths were. Something about being the I AM.

A Cultic protocol.

I am so sorry. Are they saved? Pray for them. Ask them questions, see what they say. I will pray for them with you.
