You should have seen the look in his eyes when I told him I knew what his masonic stuff was about. He actually hissed at me and told me that I would never find anything out!

I recently noticed that in my church's constitution it specifically says that the pastors cannot be in any "brotherhood-type" organizations:thumb
I think we might have had one person in our church who was in the Masons, but being a Quaker church, we don't believe in taking oaths or secret societies, thank the Lord! :)
God bless you!

From what I know, it appears that some masons are lost while others may not be.
It has to do with the initiation into the 1st degree. They are to pray over a religious text of any sort, The Bible, the Koran, Hindi script, it doesn't matter. As long as the initiate believes in a higher power of some sort, they can complete this "ritual."
Masons who allege to be Christians pray over a bible. If one honestly belives that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for their sins, then they are saved. The hard part comes when you are supposed to be part of this "brotherhood" that encourages the sames beliefs and practices as the mid-tribulation multi-faith apostate church. Sort of that "God is in us and we all have the potential to be God " kind of thing.

As I have said, the entire organisation is a cult with occultic roots, that is, it doesn't matter how low down you are, you are in deception. It is comparable to Catholicism.

Here's an older discussion about Freemasonry:
http://www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=8308&highlight=Freemasonry
There are a ton of replies to read, but it may give you more in-depth information.
Certainly, check that thread out and the others. They are all locked, the little dogs that came off the porch were getting the smack down put on them.
To summarize what can be found:
1) Ignoring of primary source documents
2) Selective editing of quotes to "prove" the point and out of context quotations
3) Bald assertions of "facts" unsupported by primary source evidence
4) Tin foil hat level conspiracy theories
5) Quoting of known and proven frauds as "fact" in support of assertions
6) Ignorance of the structure, constitution and rules of Masonic organizations
7) Refusal to amplify positions when invited to examine the context
8) Equating of the actions of individuals with actions of a group
9) Failing to follow simple historical timelines to discern the sources of cause and effect
10) Misinterpretation of Scriptures to support a position when traditional exegesis of these Scriptures supports the reverse of the position asserted
11) Ignoring Scripture and invitation to discuss Scripture
12) Discarding of logic except for invalid presuppositional logic
Now I will tell you that I did find those threads of great use. The first was a great belly laugh session when a poster put up a "definitive" audio teaching and, exactly as predicted for the professional antimason, within a couple of minutes the listeners at the conference were being directed to the back table where the "real, in depth expose" was available for purchase (excuse me, "for a donation to") in various media formats.
The second was that a large chunk of a Bible study lesson on the 9th Commandment was brought forth which I roughed out in a more formal manner and posted in the Bible Study forum which apparently is undisputed.
For full disclosure, I am a Freemason and a Christian, although by the rules of this board and the mere opinions of some of the members defines me as a witch, New Age occultist, Satanist, demon possessed and various other negative connotations. I would suggest you compare my posts in other threads before you make that decision for yourself.
Amusingly enough after a discussion of my testimony recently I found that there are parallels between my return to or further growth in Christianity and my later decision to become a Mason. The first was engendered by a study of the antiChristian positions, which turned out to be based on false "facts". The second was engendered by a study of the antimasonic positions and finding their basis to be exactly the same.
For the usual suspects who might feel they have to chime in, if you choose not to either dispute my study in the Bible Study forum or discuss any of the serious errors in your position I've pointed out in the previous threads, I'll simply let you know that you aren't able to talk on an informed level yet. If you want a starting point, then I'm really interested in hearing your position on why you want to remain unequally yoked with every tyrant, religious and political, who seek to shackle the minds of men in darkness.

Yep, totally agree with you. I think if anyone here has been involved in Freemasonry, or one of their family members has, you might want to consider getting some ministry into in. An excellent ministry - Ellel Ministries, http://ellelministries.org, frequently run courses on Freemasonry which teach about its implications and provide healing/deliverance ministry into it. Alternatively you could try one of their healing retreats as they deal with issues such as Freemasonry in those as well.
Real interesting website. While I haven't taken one of their courses to be able to evaluate it, some of their language, subjects and the appeal to their "ministry experience" as authority raises a number of big red flags to me. I'd be real cautious about these guys since it looks like, at best, they are dangerously mixing psychobabble with Christianity.

Deliverance Ministry
Deliverance was an integral part of the healing ministry of Jesus and of the great commission He gave to the Church. This extended four-day course examines deliverance from both scriptural and practical perspectives. It explains how demonic footholds can be established in a preson's life and presents key principles by which captives may be set free. The course is designed to train and equip those who are called to the healing ministry and will greatly benefit all those involved in spiritual leadership within the Body of Christ. Following a biblical overview of the created realms and the consquences of the fall, teaching - illustrated from our extensive ministry experience - progresses to cover: The encounters of Jesus with Satan and the demonic Looks at some of the events in Jesus' own ministry and draws from these vital principles that we can apply today.
Satan's battle strategy
Satan's strategy and how he uses the demoinc realm to achieve his objectives. Explains the work and character of demons and how they seek to influence people's lives.
Principle demonic footholds
How the demonic can be given rights in our lives both through our own sins and as a consequence on the sins of others. Also covers the consequences of generational sin.
Preparing someone to receive deliverance
Key principles for setting people free from bondage and oppression. The importance of forgiveness, right heart attitudes and making right choices.
Other important topics
Practical considerations; post-deliverance care; the place of deliverance alongside inner healing. Workshops led by Ellel team members for an integral part of this course. These provide an opportunity to raise questions and to begin to put the teaching into practice in a safe environment. Please note that attendance on this course requires written permission from your church leadership.
Inner Healing and Emotional Wholeness
Doctors recognise that our physical health and general well-being are gratly affected by our emotional condition, our thinking and our personal relationships. Jesus, who was fully human and therefore fully understands us, shows in His healing ministry that inner healing is a vital part of the process of becoming healthy. His compassionate response to those in need demonstrates that true healing is bringing wholeness ot only to our bodies but also to our emotions and inner being. This very popular course is the first of two on this subject and will help all those seeking to understand how healing and wholeness may be experienced for themselves. It also presents vital keys to all those who are involved in or feel called to minister God's healing love to others. This course is designed to bring clarity and understanding into the whole area of inner healing, part of the fullness of healing won at the cross.
Topics covered include:
* The nature of man created as spirit, soul and body and how the function and health of each affects the whole person.
* Relationships and the effect of relationship bonds, called "soul-ties", on our lives and health. The spiritual dangers and possible consequences of both current and past ungodly relationships are explained.
* Possible causes of inner damage that have occurred throughout our lives. The truth that this damage has often been caused by people will lead to a need to understand and personally apply the truths of forgiveness.
* The possible presenting symptoms of those who have inner damage.
* Understanding emotional pain and how we respond to it.
* The process of healing and some of the key steps for walking into wholeness.
Opportunity will be given during the course for discussion, asking questions and application of the teaching into our own lives.

illustrated from our extensive ministry experience
ALL Experiential teachings of new age inklings.....very demon concious in almost every thing! They never refer to the flesh problem. Every problem is to do with demons and footholds!

So, is it two Freemason/"Christians" here, Kamatu and jckliew? (I suspect there are a couple more here at RR.)
So, you guys are okay worshiping at the same altar with the idolaters and those that worship false gods? All religions lead to the same G.A.O.T.U.?
