Well that's what I believe. Anyway I'm done with all this. This board has effectively crushed my ability to express my views.

We understand your views
We are just trying to help line them up with a Biblical perspective.

I guess I must be reading the wrong Bible then. :)

Just as another thought, my church prohibits members from belonging to any group that has secret oaths, etc. While it doesn't single out the Masons, that is what it means. It is left open to cover any group which may come into being that has a similar type of system. This is written into our church constitution. I belong to an independent, Baptist church. 46 years ago, the founding members of my church saw something wrong with freemasonry. I haven't read anything which would make me believe they were wrong.

Didn't mean to start an argument:doh I just ask for input.GOD/JESUS is our light we have been shown the way. Freemason's don't allow the name of Jesus to be used in prayer then how do they pray? To me that shows the true side of who they follow.:idunno

You are on the right track
One of the Mason's books written by Albert Pike admits they worship Lucifer but they don't see him as satan, they see him as an angel of light

Wow! I watched that first video that someone posted! That is an eyeopener.
I never knew all that about Washington D.C.

My church also does not allow anyone to join who is a member of a secret society, as someone else posted about their church.

My dad was a member of the mason society but he got out of it somehow.
He was saved not too long before he died. He died 52 years ago just about a month before I was to turn 2 years old. I'm looking foward to getting to know him in heaven.
My own mother tried to get me to join the Eastern Star society, and I could have because I had an uncle who was still an active member of the Masons.
He's dead now, too, and I'm sure glad now I didn't try to join.
I'm sure the Eastern Star is just as cultic as the mason society is.
