I do know that some of our American founders were in freemason. "George Washington was one. So were Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere and Henry Ford. All of these illustrious and influential men were Freemasons (or Masons) -- privileged members of the world’s oldest and largest fraternity..... http://people.howstuffworks.com/freemason.htm
It no surprise that some of their designs seem similiar to freemasonary (I am sure that's where they got their ideas.)

Well that's what I believe. Anyway I'm done with all this. This board has effectively crushed my ability to express my views.
My advice to you is to be less wise in your own eyes and for once listen up.
These people here really do know more than you do and just because you have made some research into the masons and freemasons doesn't mean your view on them is correct.
I'm 30 years old and i know that many here are more knowledgeable than i am in different areas.
And concerning (free)masonry, i do think that their origin is definitely occultic/demonic in nature.

We understand there are 2 sides to every story but the Freemasonry side is not the Biblical side.

Ok so no you won't let others see the other (true) side? Really, that's fine. I'm not going to post in this thread anymore.

Post all you want from websites but not from blogs or other bulletin boards.

I have a relative that's a mason; however, I must confess that this is not a subject I've researched. One piece of Scripture that my pastor pointed out several years ago when speaking on this topic stuck with me. Thought I'd share it...
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

My whole family on my father's side were Masons, Eastern Stars, and I myself was in Rainbow girls as a teen, even becoming Worthy Advisor. Most of the businessmen and doctors in our small town belonged to the Masons. It was just what professional men seemed to do. My grandparents made longlasting friends, and everybody went to church. (My husbands family...same story). I never heard about the dark side of it until I heard John Ankerberg on TV about 10 years ago. Oh, and Texe Marrs :twitch. I'm not saying the Masons aren't subversive and satanic, because I don't really know, but some of these "sources" aren't too reputable. They are very clamorous and strident.

BrckBrln, why is it that you're so convinced that (free)masonism is not demonic/occultic without having much evidence for that and having only superficial knowledge about these secretive organizations?
Why are you so obsessed with proving that you're right?
Why don't you accept what other with more expertise in the field are telling you?
