I'm becoming more convinced everyday that the Rapture may have less impact in the churches then what I used to believe.

What a nasty bit of deception being served up as truth.

I beg the differ - all people are basically bad. Our sinful nature is so strong when we don't have Christ in our lives. And even when we have Him. We still show our sinful side. I trust no man - it takes a while for anyone to be in my inner circle. I just don't accept someone telling me oh I go to church I believe in Christ. Their lives have to show that without them telling me by mouth. I have been coming to Rapture Ready for the last 6 years. I have seen decline in society in unbelievable numbers. People that you would never think could commit crimes. So I know people are not naturally good. They are naturally evil. And until they accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Their spirit can not be changed to reflect that flesh we call a body.

My 2 cents.

This is why we, as christains, need to redouble our efforts to reach out to people and bring them the true word of God. They are in dire need of something to hang their faith on and will do so with anything that strikes their fancy since they do not know the truth of the word of God. How much better it would be if we could reach some of them and give them something real to believe in instead of this new age psychobabble.

There is a saying that says "if you don't believe in something you will fall for anything". Apparently the people who have bought into this pile of delusional droppings are indeed searching for something to give meaning to their lives. We know it is not possible to reach all of them since many have hardened their hearts against anything to do with the one true God. But wouldn't it be wonderful if more of us would make an effort to bring them the truth and save as many as possible.

You say "I cannot do that, I am too shy, or I don't know how to approach someone I don't know. But there is a way for you to help anyway. PRAY for them. There have been double blind studies that have shown with scientific certainty that patients suffering from some injury or illness who are prayed for fare better than those who are not prayed for. So even if you are not a person who is capable of open witnessing to strangers you can still make a difference through PRAYER.

From the Suntimes article:

But it is clear, even from the first chapter of the book, that Tolle considers most religious traditions to be tainted, if not blatantly destructive. "Humanity is now faced with a stark choice: evolve or die," Tolle writes. "We are coming to the end not only of mythologies but also of ideologies and belief systems."

Wow...and here I always thought is was "believe...and be saved." Funny how satan always gets it backwards.

Am I the only person who thinks Oprah is the most dangerous woman on the face of the earth today?

Consider her popularity, following, influence, money, beliefs- no other woman comes close.

She has all the characteristics of the antichrist except that she is female.

"Oprah and Friends" to teach course on New Age Christ

Source: Warren Smith :thumb

LTRP Note: Warren Smith is a former New Age follower. It was his book Deceived on Purpose that first alerted the church to the New Age implications of The Purpose Driven Life. We are posting the following article because Oprah Winfrey has become a major influencer in the lives of millions of women. Her recent promotion of New Ager Eckhart Tolle's January release, A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose has turned the book into a best seller in just weeks.

I remember when she first introduced this book. She had a big production on her show..showed a tape of celebrities talking about it..with this calming music in the background. I saw red flags immediately. I'm so glad I can pick this stuff out now..if this was 10 years ago I could have easily been sucked into it. Oh..btw..I don't watch Oprah but The Gosselins (Jon & Kate Plus 8) were on the show that day and I love that family! Just wanted to put that disclaimer in. :) lol
