Laurie Young is experiencing first-hand how one person’s daily routine can impact others.


It’s the premise of a new-age spirituality book by Eckhart Tolle she’s read twice now titled A New Earth - Awakening to your Life’s Purpose.

"Each human being is an integral part of the collective human consciousness;


they affect the world much more deeply than is visible on the surface of their lives," says Young, reading a quote from the book.

"I love that," she says.

"I made a decision to read a book and it’s affected people’s lives. A guy from Nebraska flew to Rothesay.

It started out simply enough. Tolle’s book was promoted on The Oprah Winfrey Show

Before church this morning I was on here and went to the link about Oprah denying Jesus. Then we get to church and before the sermon, they had a video presentation on the exact same clip I had just watched earlier this morning and giving out basically the same warnings! :shocked We have been visiting for a couple of weeks, but I feel led to join. They preach from the bible and when the pastor came over even before I could ask, he said they were not emergent or purpose driven. :yeah Oh, back to topic, I'm so glad the church is being warned even if people don't like to hear the truthas was evidenced by one couple who got up and left after the video.
