It's not judgment, it's discernment! Oprah is a "many paths to the devine" and has even started her own new age religion on her website.

The judgment you are referring to is about accusing another of sin when ignoring your own. The Bible calls us to discern false prophets and that's what is being done in this thread.

If we didn't "test" the gospel others preach, we would not be doing our Christian duty to remain steadfast in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I believe we are instructed to judge righteously and the fact is Oprah promotes all sorts of New Age heresy to miliions -therefore she is to be judged.

:idunno One of my neightbors and I were discussing Oprah yesterday. She said she thinks that Oprah is tired of the TV show and is looking for bigger things....like Obama making her some sort of Ambassador.....
Haven't watched her in yrs. She has been very new Age to me for a long time.

Every time I see her doe-eyed, rapt, child-like attention on the latest trend of spiritualistic nonsense she pedantically dissects as some form of new enlightenment she is bestowing upon her lemming masses everywhere, I desperately want to run for the hills and not look back.

Sadly, that is an apt description. I will keep her in my prayers but have not turned on her show for years and never will again.

Same here, I haven't watched Oprah in many years. She is totally New Age, has been going deeper into it for years. You're right, she seems to be into that blasphemous cult taken from a book a woman wrote. She may have appointed herself to spread it since she has such an ability to reach many through her wealth and position in the media.
