Ya know, the Holy Spirit must really be a busy and powerful entity. Really, as silly and stupid as all this seems to us, we have no comprehension just how reasonable this may sound to those without the Holy Spirit residing in them. We have been given a moral compass most don't have, not because they can't have it but because they haven't made the right choices to get it.

Ya just gotta wonder, just how normal all this silliness seems and sounds to those still walking in the darkness.

This is sick. ron4jesus you have many good points I've noticed.
To watch her argue with that woman was beyond belief. Oprah has so much swaying power. She could do so much good because of the following she has gathered. Instead she is corrupted and teaching the LIE. Teaching people how to go to hell as quick as they can. One woman I work with is so taken in by her. Every day she gives us all the "Oprah report". They are blinded and deceived and will not listen to reason and truth because of what people like her say. So what if she's on television? That doesn't make her smarter or more informed or anything. It makes her popular. Period. To have that much chance to do good and be on the wrong side and deceive is more than I can take.

Amen. God created us, out of Love, through Love for Love.....we didn't create Him for our purposes. We SHOULD be still and know that He is God...but for reverent worship and prayer...to rest in His great Love.

If I get arrested for talking about Jesus....that is time WELL spent in jail.

There is so much chaos and anger today. That is why I wrote what I did in the Hear us from heaven thread I started. We have lost our focus, and need to get it back. I felt very strongly to write today, to maybe shine a tiny ray of hope into pitch black darkness. Getting and staying angry changes nothing. Prayer, done through faith, changes everything.

I am my own salvation, I am my own heaven, I am my own god - yikes - triple yikes! :yikes I never saw this segment of the show (don't watch it) heard a little about it though. satan heard, saw and took her! Ophra has such a big following from her show; that translates into millions of would be followers who believe they are their own salvation! - sad - I may be a murderer and yet if I believe I am good, my way is good - (I as) god will bless me as a murderer - then it is alright; I will save myself! However you chose to live is your "way" After all who then defines what is good? Rules/laws are arbitrary!

I agree with the pastor, they as a human and life, are a gift of God.
