Just curious does being born a seriel killer also mean that is a gift from God? Sin is sin no matter how inclusive someone tries to make it.

Here's my opinion. Being gay is a sin, BUT it is a sin that harms only the sinner. Therefore, as a DEMOCRATIC nation, we should allow gays the same rights as everyone else...as long as they don't harm others (and I'm talking in a tangible sense here. Sorry folks, but hurt or offended morals don't cut it when it comes to the laws of our goverment). The serial killer analogy is just absurd--being gay doesn't take someone ELSE'S life--it only hurts your own which, I hate to say, it 100% okay in the U.S.A.

The nation is secular but built on a Judeo-Christian ethic and moral code. Read the founders and you will see their concern when we became relativistic in our moral code.

Not to mention this was a "minister" who is an abomination to his "calling".

I'm proud of that woman that spoke up and told Oprah how it really is. It's really good to know there are still some true believers in on those sessions that aren't afraid to speak up.

Hi there, can you help me understand, doesn't the homosexual lifestyle also harm others? There are men who know they have HIV and sleep with other men. What about when loved ones find out someone is gay? And what about married men who have gay encounters and then come back to their wives? What about the hurt and betrayal? What about prison's gang rapes? Molestation of children? In fact, doesn't just about all sin harm others in one way or another? :scratch

We are called to stand for what is right, and being gay is wrong. It is as simple as that.

This is yet another good example of why we don't allow our kids to watch hardly anything on TV.

So being homosexual doesn't hurt anyone but the one homosexual? Have you heard of AIDS? That hurts more than just the "sinner" The gay person might be married, and pass on harmful diseases to his unsuspecting wife. Or pass it on to his/her gay lover, it can even affect any children born to the homosexual. This nation can be Democratic all it wants, doesn't change that it was founded on the principles of Christianity (not the Rick Warren type either) Furthermore, it is never ok to commit serious crimes against God, I don't care who legalizes, justifies, or ratifies. The USA is nothing without God, and we shall soon see this. The morals part of your post, it is just wrong. First you assume this country has morals, which is sadly not the case anymore. The government should be an extension of christian morality and beliefs, not the antithesis.

Homosexuality is perversion. Perversion, especially on the large scale we're seeing it today, has a deep impact on a society as a whole. It absolutely affects other people. It's that old "live and let live" mindset that put this country in the horrible shape it's in today. Our kids are bombarded with this same message that you're attempting to relay and it makes it doubly hard for the Christian parent to counter that. I sure hope the Lord comes soon because if this kind of dangerous mentality keeps spreading as rapidly as it has been, our kids will be lost...but for the grace of God.
