I agree! I think people hated Bush so, that they voted for OB. Some voted because he was black and some didn't vote for that reason. With so many people supporting gay and abortion agenda's, he had that vote sewn up. And with his celebrity status, he captured that crowd.....He literally had something for everyone within the segment that voted for him.
And yet, I think, how on earth did he really win, but then I look around at the world, and know the answer. Yet, I feel all his supporters are in for a very rude awakening. It kinda reminds me of how my son selected one of his teachers, he went on a website that ranked them (something I had never heard of), and so he just picked the one with the highest marks, best comments. Well, need I say it was the worst/hardest teacher he had....:lol2....He learned his lesson, like I told him it's not picking the favorite teacher that makes a good teacher, it is a good teacher that becomes the favorite....so much for the populous vote! :idunno
Lol on myspace you can grade your professor, and I did it every semester b/c it gives you a "heads-up" about who to avoid or who is best in their respective department. But it really comes down to your personal opinion, b/c my chemistry prof. had a good grade on myspace but I didn't think she was that great lol. Anyways regarding the topic, its really sad to see that so many "christians" were fooled into thinking that Obama was the best candidate. So many pastors felt that he was sent here by God to change the U.S & the world:ohno

This guy gives me the creeps and he is moving so fast on everything. What can we do ? Why are not Americans up in arms over this ? How much more do we take of this crazy stuff ? There will be a civil war looming soon because the things this guy is doing is totally crazy and un-american. How did we let this happen ? It's like the Twilight Zone and I keep walking deeper in it and it gets stranger by the minute. :panic:panic
I totally agree with you on this. I hope enough Americans are out there who still care enough about our country to put a stop to what is happeneing to it. Good post.

The more I think about this, the more hopeful I become. Perhaps the artist is pointing out the placing of O. as a 'messiah figure',and not that the artist personally agrees with this. Maybe he is trying to shake the masses here. I certainly hope so.
Boy is this sick, sick, sick, the fact that he would even create something like that is beyond me, something is wrong with the man's brain! Satan is definately using him, The world is going mad, I tell ya! Then those articles
are also bothersome, something is really wrong with are America, actually are America, well I fear is no more! :fear
Marantha! Come Lord Jesus Come! :yeah

The worse is yet to come. I believe that all of this is just the beginning of what is to
come and that when it does come many will truly be shocked and may loose faith (If
they are not truly saved).
Well, I know how discouraging and frustrating all this is for me! Praise and thanks to Jesus for opening my eyes to the Truth! I can see how many could easily fall away with all this darkness around them.

In December 2006, President Obama discussed the importance of faith in the global battle against AIDS.
Ummmm, just pray it away? :scratch
AIDS is easily preventable by simply not participating in certain activities. Convincing people to stop being naughty is the hard part. People in Africa who think they can rid themselves of the disease by having sex with virgins are sadly mistaken. And "political correctness" in other places prevents it from being treated like other communicable diseases.

It gets sicker by the minute.

WOW - why are you attacking me and judging my faith? :scratch
I read that quote on his website as another way to establish common ground - and yes eventually out of this nonsense a OW religion will emerge. I wasnt commenting on it being right, just that teh title seemes to overstate what was written on his website. I do not see where he is explicity proposing a new religion - we just have the knowledge of prophecy but he isnt there yet...may not be long...anyway I just think we need to be careul about not overstating or making super inflammatory comments about Obama b/c its not gonna be a good witness to unbeliver who have a blind faith in teh man. We shoudl call them as we see them. I see that title as having been a stretch. Just voicing my opinion.
How is this misleading? It states by his own words off the Government web page.
"Senator Obama also laid down principles for how to discuss faith in a pluralistic society, including the need for religious people to translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values during public debate"
Not very misleading there? I think the Rather then part says it all When added to universal concerns. So if the buddists come and say "There are many paths to heaven" I should say Ok great I will accept that and not say a word? I should just remain quiet? If you areneither hot or cold and merely luke warm maybe you might just remain quiet. As for Me I am boiling over in my passion for my faith therefore I will state and accept nothing less then the Belief that the only way to the father is by the son! You do as you will and eat your own regurgetation I will stand up and battle for Christ till my dying breath On this I draw the line in the sand! If your with christ through me Please reply of your against your are more then welcome to post your view and I will use every scripture relevant to combat it

I'm pretty sure it's satirical. Just sayin'...

I for one will let God judge him on if he is a christian or not.
God will judge in the end, but by the fruit we can know which side he is on.
