I was actually in Israel with just a tourist visa for about 7 years. But four years ago I married an Israeli, so I now have residency.

But don't despair - if the Lord is leading you here, just come. He will work out your visa... He did it for me for those seven years, which is far longer than Israel usually renews tourist visas for.
