Hi everyone,

Don't know if I'll be joining in much...I'm just bored at the moment.

I mostly joined the forum so I could inform men who browse through the site of a possible solution to some addictive behaviors they might have. I'm trying to raise awareness of the problem so people can avoid having years of their life stolen away like mine was...

Hi and welcome to the forum. I think that's very good of you to want to help people with addictions. I have struggled with alchohol addiction for years. I hate the fact that I drink and I feel guilty about it a lot. I have to trust Jesus to set me free from it. And I've got to learn to be responsible and just say NO to drinking.

Any thoughts you have on turning away from addiction would be really appreciated.

Btw, good to see you on the forum!:):wave

Thanks for the welcome!

Just what I posted in the men's talk forum. Like I said, every other method was a complete failure and just compounded the issue.

I don't know your situation, but it turned out that my need to self-medicate was biological, not spiritual nor psychological (though it impacted both of those).

Ok. Thanks. I haven't read that thread yet, but I will. God bless.

Welcome brother. :hug

Yes addictions are tough, methinks we've all had some experience with them at some point in our lives.

Hope you join in some of our other discussions as well. :)

God is good, all the time!
