Any homeschooling moms/dads here with experience with Accelerated Christian Education, A.C.E.? I have been looking at it and am considering it for next year. Any things you specifically like or dislike?

I went to a school where A.C.E. was taught- my older sister loved it and I hated it. It was too boring for me and I felt I needed a little more hands on teaching or personal attention. From what I know about A.C.E. (this curriculum may have changed) is that it is for an independent learner and the learner that likes to fill out workbooks, not one who needs the one-on-one teacher and more in depth learning or hands on learning.
Every child is different, some are independent learners and some are not.
I have homeschooled for 9 years so I have learned that some of my kids learn in different ways.
I hope that helped.

I use it. It does have its pros and cons. It is very "reading/answering questions" formatted. The material is very Christian/Bible-based. It is a very straight-forward curriculum and very goal-oriented. My kids do great with it.
For its cons, it is not heavy on hands-on type things, as the previous poster said. There are not many experiments or projects, very lacking on anything artistic, things like that.
Personally, I love it, but I can see where others wouldn't. It does all depend on the type of learner your child is.
