Have any of you used this? Was it too much work or did you enjoy it? I was going to do our state's history next year but I am considering changing to The Prairie Primer. :thinking It looks interesting but it has been compaired to KONOS, which is very good but WAY too much leg work for me to do.

I did use the prairie primer for a while, but it did require a lot of prep work on my part, which as you know, can get old quickly! That being said, we enjoyed it while we did it.

That's what I'm thinking. :panic :runhills

That's too bad because the kids are interested right now. They need to come up with one that 99.99% of the legwork is already done for you. :thumb

I did this at a homeschool coop and honestly I can't imagine using this as your whole curriculum. It's great as an add on to the books though. Review questions, and project ideas.

:thinking I've been stewing on this some more and I might have come up with a solution. I have the History Pockets: Moving West which covers the basic time period of the Little House books and all the work is already done for me. :yay If I can get my hands on a used Prairie Primer then I can just use that as an occasional supplement. :thinking

I don't think it will work for next year though because that History Pocket is for 4-6+ and my dd will only be in 3rd grade. So, I'm still thinking that MD state history will happen next year and then do the Little House study the following year (Lord willing :pray).
