It doesn't justify vandalism. IMHO, Vandalism is as unBiblical as homosexuality is.
I agree.

Right Harley, that's the point I was trying to make. Vandalism, typically, is one or more persons defacing or destroying someone else's property for a laugh or out of spite. In this case, a 'church' representing the Lord is publicly displaying a sign that lies about God's word, misleading many who are seeking justification for a lifestyle that inwardly they know is wrong. To me, this makes it a spiritual matter, not a worldly matter. In many third world countries there are thousands of christians that are tortured and killed each year because they profess the name of Christ as their Lord. In each of these countries, it is 'against the law' to speak the name of Jesus, but they do it anyway. I understand we must obey the law of the land, but as a child of Christ, I cannot idly and passively sit by as the Lord is mocked or blasphemed.
I agree we should not sit idly by in passivity.
As for those being martyred for professing their faith - it's one thing to break the law of the land when that law is unbiblical. It's quite another to break the law because we're offended and think we need to counter.
Again, I agree the billboards should be addressed - but defacing someone else's property in the name of Christ is counterproductive.
