Two local billboards that are part of a broad ad campaign aimed at showing Biblical support for homosexuality were hit over the weekend by spray-paint-wielding vandals.

Anyone want to comment on the verses their itching ears somehow use to support homosexuality?

The Roman Centurion was gay?

Puhleeze.

It doesn't say the Roman Centurion wasn't gay.

This would be a cultural thing...whether "servant" in this context was how they'd identify his same-sex partner.

Either way, it's not plain in the text, which I imagine anyone checking the reference would easily see.

So you agree its a bald faced lie?

More of an exaggeration than a "bald-faced lie."

More like wishful thinking....

Twisting the term 'servant' to imply 'gay' is ridiculous.

Another at 10th Street and Mitthoeffer Road had the words “Lie, lie, lie” spray painted in red over the original message
I think its great that propaganda was clearly labeled as the LIE it is!
I salute the brave souls who defended truth with a can of spray paint!

Still, the better response would be to take out a billboard ad saying that "Servant does not mean gay..."

Or adding the words "Yeah. Right." Underneath it.

Although I agree with the opposition to the billboard - I think the vandalism doesn't reflect well on Christ.
