Just wondering... Am I the only one at RR who came out of this cult? Years ago, former Divine Light Mission, headed by "Perfect Master Guru Maharaj Ji," aka "Lord of the Universe," who is now known as Prem Rawat, still fooling many worldwide about "Knowledge." :ohno

I've never heard of it. I think there are a few of us that have come out of cults, though. -who now know Christ.

Thank you, Sing. :hug My first husband is still a follower, even after 37 years! We were among those who flew on one of those ten jumbo jets to India, to live at the 14-year-old "perfect master's" ashram near the Himalyas for a month. The lie that pulled me was that the boy was Jesus come in the flesh--I didn't want to miss Jesus, but what a time of absolute misery it was for me! :sob I'd look into those dark slanted eyes thinking, "Is that really You in there, Jesus?" As a former Christian Scientist from my youth, I didn't know my Bible well enough to realize this was NOT how Jesus was coming back!

I found an ex-premie website recently--apparently many have left the teachings to follow various other pagan beliefs! It is amazing that God must have never let me out of His hand from my childhood, even though I wandered profusely as a young adult. I think I must be one of the few people to come out of this cult and return to Jesus, the Savior.

Thank you, Jesus, for your longsuffering with me and absolute forgiveness of all of my infidelity! How I long to see Your true face! Maranatha! Lord, come! :faint :pray

I don't recall hearing about this group, but I am so happy that you sensed God's hand of protection keeping you all those years. Praise God. He is faithful and ever watchful!

Thank you again, Sing. I've been praying for my ex-husband for many years, it seems to no avail. For him, the roots have gone very deep. He is in near total darkness. My words to him about Christ have fallen on closed ears. I keep praying anyway. :pray

Thank you, His Bride. This was in the early 70s. It was my then-husband's love--it never really took a foothold in me, thanks to our Lord.
