There are many questions out there today about what we should believe, and what we should practice.

Christians search the bible, looking for answers, but things are taken out of context, and confusion results.

The solution however is simple:

Go to Jesus in humility, and ask Him to teach you personally.

Jesus Himself, who taught Peter, Paul, Matthew, and John can teach you.

If any man or woman wants to be wise, let them ask the Wise, and they can gain understanding.

Matthew 23:8-10

8 But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren.

9 *Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

10 And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.

*The Father of Jesus Christ is your Father

Hi soulfinder,

Good post. I'm reminded of James 1:5 ..... "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."

Sometimes when our kids ask us question after question, we tend to get impatient with them. The verse says "let him ask of God, ..... and upbraideth not." Isn't it wonderful that God never gets impatient with us when we seek Him wisdom?

I'm always awestruck when I consider that, even in His greatness, He still longs to spend time WITH ME !!!!!

God Bless.
