Yep, I believe the forums have to be set either all one way or the other (using the post bit legacy template) but I'm starting to prefer this way by now.

My recollection is that different skins can be set up different ways, some on the top and some on the side, left or right. I've done all three. It's just a matter of if and/or when the staff can get to them.

I think he is referring to how the old board allowed you to make the choice in your control panel.

I would like that as well. I would also like to see the ignore feature in the dropdown and the thread starting date as others have mentioned.
