... you just don't care
I forgive you for that false and offensive statement.
I will comment no further on this issue.

we parents are doing everything we can to help prevent our kids smoking, in case you haven't heard - if my kids came home and said 'x is a christian and he smokes' - my response would be 'x is not a christian yet honey, let's pray for him'
So b/c i smoke, that makes me NOT a christian?!! Are you kidding me?!! :shocked
That's nice, get off that pedastal much?!! Me thinks someone oughta re-read there bible about judging others perceived sins.... Not caring has nothing to do with it...
My son encountered someone like you a few years ago.... and quite frankly her attitude was much more alarming to him, then my smoking -- though he doesn't like it he certainly knows he's being raised by christian parents by our example in many areas. I may not be happy about being a smoker still, but i would never presume someone is say not a christian b/c they smoke or hey b/c there fat and abusing there temple.
It's people like you that blindly attack another christian b/c they don't agree with them about something that is NOT a salvation issue... it's also people like you that continue to turn the worldly person away with your self-righteous attitude!
Enough said, Ask God if i'm a christian i wholeheartedly guarantee the answer would be yes and for one reason alone. I have believed in the one that saved me by shedding his blood.

Its not about you. Its about people who claim to be Christians, whose behaviour influences others, and publicly endorsing the pleasures of a behaviour that is not only addictive but lethal to our children. Comparisons to what some people eat or drink, or if they drive a car, and so on, pale into insignificance when compared to the harm tobacco does to our children.
If a Christian is battling an addiction, he may continue to smoke, but if he has been born again he will not publicly support a practice that can kill our children.

Go for it, research it, I already have. Good keywords are Milk + Puss + Antibiotics + Hormones or something along those lines. If this were a thread about this subject I'd maybe repost some of my old research. Also research Aspartame + formaldehyde while you are at it. Suddenly all those "Christians" aren't so far away from the tree as people would like to get you to think, eh? Milk, quite possibly the thing attributed to many millions of deaths in the future. :nod
The more natural a food is, the better it is for you ... naturally!
It is not what a person does per se, it is what impact their behaviour has on others by word or by example. You are not encouraging people to engage in dangerous behaviour - just the opposite, I gather. Christians should be more concerned about the health and welfare of others than they are for their own pleasure ... especially when it is a matter of life and death.

[22] Do Not Judge In An Unrighteous Manner - Determining that someone is less of, or not truly a Christian because of a perceived lack of spiritual gifts, worship style, observance or non-observance of holidays, divorced or remarried, political affiliation, experiencing various trials, or because someone who confesses they are saved by grace through faith in Christ, is not judging righteously. Do not declare someone is headed for hell in judgment of their devious actions. All members are to examine and judge doctrine held by others in light of Biblical truth, their salvation is a matter to be judged by Jesus only. (John 7:24; Matthew 7:1-2; John 5:25-29, I Corinthians 4:5)

I quit nearly 3 months ago (after 30 years) and have saved over $300.
Most of all my testimony isnt being harmed by smoking, at least.
Glory to God for giving me the strength to quit.
Smokers, He is there for you when you decide to stop.

The more natural a food is, the better it is for you ... naturally! But drinking formaldehyde isn't good for you at all, but people do it, then they point the finger at everyone else. Most don't even know how dangerous milk is, and when you try to let them know, they think it's all a joke, and point that finger some more. It's all quite amusing in a way, sadly.

i have seen that gel sold in craft and hobby stores... i also have some nice old cedar boxes.... i may be able to get something really nice together and make a gift of it :)
Regular cedar will destroy the flavor of cigars. The cedar used in humidors is spanish cedar, and only spanish cedar. Do not, I repeat, do not use regular cedar to store cigars.
Also, the "gel" is different. It is designed to maintain certain humidities for cigars. Using something else could be to much or to little. To much will cause a cigar to swell and explode, to little will allow it to dry up and taste like a cows rear end.
