Iran urged President Barack Obama on Monday not to comment on the case of a U.S. journalist convicted of spying and sentenced to eight years in prison before learning the details.
Iran has released very few facts about Roxana Saberi's case and initially said she was arrested in January for working without press credentials. The government later charged the 31-year-old dual American-Iranian citizen with spying for the United States and convicted her in a one-day trial behind closed doors.
The conviction, which Iran announced Saturday, has complicated Obama's efforts to break a 30-year diplomatic deadlock between the two countries.

And as usual, Obama wants to "talk it out." We have become truly spineless in the eyes of the world.

TEHRAN, Iran - Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton criticized Iran on Saturday for sentencing an American journalist to eight years in prison for spying.
"I am deeply disappointed by the reported sentencing of Roxana Saberi by the Iranian judiciary," said Clinton in a statement released by the State Department. "We will continue to vigorously raise our concerns to the Iranian government."
This just goes to show how clueless this administration is. So Iran poked the US in the eye, I suspect this is only the beginning.
Like "raising concerns" has them shaking in their boots. :loco :rolleyes

Notice that the 2 American journalists taken by NK just prior to their missle test are not covered in the news either and are still held by NK. One of them is Lisa Leau's (sp?) sister.

We have been "raising concerns" over Iran for years now. What are we afraid of ? Maybe its because its all part of Gods plan. :scratch

Maybe Hillary should send them a strongly worded memo.

There is one bright side to this: maybe if it's the msm people getting taken, they'll start changing their tune about how we shouldn't do anything. . .

If this girl is an American Citizen....why is Hillary having Switzerland help to fee the girl?
And...sorry, don't really have much sympathy for journalists who know what they are getting into and get caught. Its seems like they just want to have top story these days.
