Well, has anybody noticed that the negotiation process
is shifting back to the U.S.? I believe it's an ominous
sign that we will definitely suffer the repercussions from.
Where during the Bush administration the EU was prominent,
but now that there comrades have the reigns, everybody's
happy to allow them to call the shots. They'll make a certified
mess of it and seal our prophetic doom.

Even I'm at a point where I don't care WHAT Obama wants, maybe he should keep his focus on getting the US economy up and running again and keep his mouth out of Israel's business.

I sincerely pray that Netanyahu stands his ground and tells Obama where he can get off, enough is enough, who does Obama think he is to tell Israel what's up and what's down, Obama's like a pesky, irritating gnat! :gaah

A quote from the first few paragraphs of the OP's referenced article:

U.S.: Palestinians need not recognize Israel as Jewish state before talks
By Akiva Eldar
Tags: Israel News, Iran

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's demand that the Palestinians recognize Israel as the state of the Jewish people as a condition for renewing peace talks is unacceptable to the United States, the State Department said during special envoy George Mitchell's visits over the weekend to Ramallah and Cairo.

The State Department released statements saying that the United States would continue to promote a two-state solution. In Ramallah, Mitchell met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

Mitchell's talks also seem to indicate that the United States does not accept Netanyahu's position that the renewal of negotiations should be postponed until the Iranian nuclear threat is removed.

While Defense Minister and Labor Party leader Ehud Barak has not spoken publicly on the issue, his associates said Saturday he is obligated to the party platform, which supports the establishment of a Palestinian state

Make no mistake about it, they know exactly the noose they are demanding Israel stick its neck in. Its designed and not ignorance.

And our Administration has no concept of the implications it is bringing down on this country.

I sure am noticing this too. :ohno I have a bad feeling about what is close to happening. Obama is running around the world making friends with everyone (enemies) and Israel is going to mess up his plans. It's all going to turn out as Israel's fault guaranteed. The writing is on the wall.

:praying for Israel. What choice do they have? Obama is a fool.

Several weeks ago this man was on I believe it was Arab TV apologizing all over himself for the arrogance of the U.S.

Now he is telling Isreal what is and isn't ACCEPTABLE as they negotiate for the survival of their nation

FURIOUS does not begin to express it.

Like one of the earlier posters states, how would King O react if say Gordon Brown told him he would turn Texas over to Mexico to appease them?

He seems determined to bring the wrath of God down upon the US. :fear Praying for Israel, the US and for the very soon return of our Lord Jesus to take us home and shortly (7 yrs) later to rule and reign on this earth.
