Yesterday was our church picnic/baptisms.

I was moved to tears seeing the husband of a church member get baptised, and he testified that it was the prayers of his faithful wife that finally led him to the Lord after years of marriage together. They have been married about 23 years.

I wasn't the only one weeping with joy, you should have seen his wife. And our pastors. And just about everyone else there.

This gave me such strength and encouragement yesterday, I was so blessed. Still praying for my husband's salvation and will til my dying breath if I have to! I was saved 3 years after I got married.

God has a plan... He has it all in His hands. He is an AWESOME God!!!

Just wanted to uplift any other women out there who are also praying for their husband's salvation.

Blessings!

I've been praying for my husband too. We've been married 19 years and I just keep praying he will come to Christ before it's too late. I rest on the fact that salvation is God's work. We just have to be faithful in praying for them and trying to be the best example of God's goodness that we can be.:wave

My husband has passed, he died in 1992. My 2 sons howerer are not saved. My paster encourages me by saying there is nothing more powerful than a mothers prayers, unless it is a wifes. I have many unsaved family members that I pray for as well. We get to trust in God. He will answer our prayers in His good time.:pray

Praying for your 2 sons, too, Jorjean! I have 2 sons also, they are 6 and 4. I rest on God's promise that my husband and children are sanctified through me, and just pray every day! I do my best to pray with my kids and read Bible stories with them, etc. Someone said to me once, "Grow where God plants you."

:pray

I'll pray for your unsaved ones deepcallstodeep and jorjean. :hug

Since I'm not always the best example either, I also pray that God brings other Christians across my unsaved loved ones' path.:)

That's a good way to pray, makarioselpis, as they will often listen better to others rather than to their loved ones.
