ROB BELL: THE gODS AREN’T ANGRY TOUR—TELLING THEM WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR

The website for the latest “tour” by Rob Bell, the Elvis of the neo-liberal cult of the Emergent Church, tells us it is:

Part anthropology, part history, part deconstruction - this is new material that Rob hasn't taught before, exploring how humans invented religion to make themselves feel better. (Online source: http://www.godsarentangrytour.com/)

Sorry Rob; wrong again. Humans “invented” religion because they rebelled against their Creator and wanted to “worship” Him their own way. Fact: All men are descended from Adam. Since he literally walked with God, Adam knew exactly what the LORD God Almighty wanted men to know about Him, and over time due to sin this became grossly distorted.

So far from “religion” proving men that wanted to seek God but just didn’t know how, these various styles of pagan worship actually show man’s fallen centered on the self nature. And as such proves the absolute Truth of Holy Scripture:

As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10-12)

All we’re really seeing here with Rob Bell is simply the seeker sensitive “postmodern” emerging church version of 1 John 4:5—they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them.

And after listening to these "Emergent gurus", the world is still not saved, but rather doubly damned :cry.

and to think....I had my head wrapped around the false religions bringing down this world and building up the false prophet, little did I realize, it was a fake Jesus movement, one that comes within the very Christian church.
I'm just going :doh :doh :doh

Don't beat yourself up :hug! Now you, too, can be a Watchman :)!! Sometime the most painful lessons are the ones we learn the best. The Lord doesn't hold it against you, but He is rather so glad your eyes are opened to His TRUTH:thumb!! Amen :hug!!

It was Rob Bell, his Nooma series and his book, Velvet Elvis that was shown and promoted in my 17 yr old son's youth group and sunday school class.

This was in a 6,000 member Southern Baptist church here in NC. Upon bringing this apostate teaching to the pastorate along with their other emergent authors promoted, my hubby and I were basically smacked in the face with their condescending anger.

oh well.... they have been told..:idunno :pray

We rejects will just all hang together, loving the Lord :ghug, and loving each other :ghug !!

all I can do is sigh.

Such dangerous apostasy that those people sat and listened too. Here's hoping that a few thought about Rob Bell's ridiculous circular reasoning and wishwashy testimonies and philosophies and figure it out before they are mislead by an even bigger heretic like McClaren. I'm sure that people walking out of this place were laughing at the bullhorn guys, after all isn't that who Rob Bell likes to target as being wrong in their approach?

..../sigh...just ..../sigh :fear:hehee:ohno

Amen to those guys out there sharing the TRUTH. Rob Bell is a false teacher preaching "peace, peace" when there is no peace - much like the false prophets from the Old Testament.

Surely some bystander after hearing all that would then ask - "Woe is me, what must I do to be saved?"
