Wow, he sure left out a big part of the message. I have heard of Rob Bell (from here) but I'd never seen him or heard anything firsthand that he actually said...so THIS is new age stuff???? Like w/ all the lights and loud music? Completely ignoring what he saud, I was totally distracted by all the white stuff, and flashiness!!! Think I'll stick to my preacher, here, Charles Stanley & a couple others.

Oh come on!!!! :doh
He was actually doing really well until....about two minutes into the video he started getting it all wrong, as usual. :doh :doh :doh
That man doesn't have a clue what Christ's resurrection was about, and what He died for. To Bell, it means the world is now in a state of renewing and everyone will soon be renewed. No mention of sin, no mention for the need of repentance, no mention of salvation through Christ alone....
Rob Bell is lost folks, and he's bringing many many people down with him, especially our young people.

:sad THAT is the extreme tragedy of Rob Bell. I mean, the man is TALENTED. He's a great communicator, and young people love him. Someone like him, preaching the WHOLE GOSPEL OF SALVATION could really be used by God.... instead, he prefers to be used by Satan and lead the lambs astray. It just makes me sick and sad. :ohno

Yeah it leaves the distinct impression that the resurrection just.... *is*...... for a better word. The closest Bell gets to asking for a comittment to it is the phrase "Do you believe". So anyone who isn't grounded in proper theology would just think, "oh that's nice - I guess I believe it so I'm rescued".
And I was so distracted by how cool Rob looked and all the swirly lights, I had to watch it twice to get THAT much out of it...... :ohno
Is that the impression you get too?

While he is busy resurrecting the rotting corpse of "This World" his people are given a totally incorrect version of The Resurrection, as the Bible teaches. :apostasy
He needs to read this while he is working feverishly to fix a broken, fallen world.
Matthew 16
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. 26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Too bad rob is so blinded by this world he doesn't see the other one.

that's exactly the feeling i got. the Resurrection isn't just "is" - it's everything!! without the Resurrection, there is nothing but hopelessness for this fallen world. but that is not the Resurrection spoken of in this crafty film. :apostasy :mystic
