how do I insert images?

I am not the techie here...

If I have a pic on my hard drive, how do I post it? I tried pasting the location after I click on Insert Image but I can't get it to work?

Searched FAQ but nothing there on inserting images, where is the Help so I can try not to bug folks again? :)

We're not set up to receive images uploaded directly from your hard drive. The images would have to be uploaded to an image hosting site like photobucket (free account) or to some other website under your control, then you would copy the URL for the picture and paste it into your post, signature, whatever.

Whoa... too big, will have to resize... but this was what happened to my son Ben over our 2 week vacation! He has a cute lisp now. :)
