jack is still on the catholic stuff from time to time, but I caught today's show before I left my house

and he was heavily slamming the seeker driven church movement

he didnt mention anyone's names in particular, but I knew who he was talking about

and it seems he is upset to say the least at what Hybels and Warren and Osteen have done to christianity

The OP only asked if anyone watched the show. Then people started giving thier reasons for watching and thier reasons for not. Im sorry I belive some responses were judgemental and not entirely true.

I agree with you. I also feel there were some judgemental statements made. The OP did not ask for opinions but since everyone seems to have one, I will put my 2 cents in here as well. Personally, I like both Jack and Roxella. They seem to be genuine to me. The love they share for each other and for the Lord is apparent. I have been watching them for quite some time and I do so with discernment just as I do with ALL people. I have yet to find a human that is 100% correct a 100% of the time. So, to asnswer the OP's question, yes, I DO watch their show.

I watched him the other night & he was talking about Rob Bell, and for the next 10 weeks he is going to be naming names of apostasy pastors/teachers. I sure wish he would say something about the Catholic Church.:rolleyes While we are exposing apostasy,:twitch let us not leave anyone out.:preach

:tskI was wondering if anyone knew whether Jack Van Impe had become involved in the 'holy laughter' scene that is going on? I just received an email from his organization where he was trying to sell his latest video and he talks about it was recorded before a live audience and how Rod Parsley and he spent 20 minutes laughing and it was caught on tape...:nope:nope

This is really sad to see a man that he, himself admits has spent so much time reading and studying the word of God, (100,000+ hours) for him to become so disillusioned. He REALLY needs our prayers!

Here is the email that I received if you 'want' to read it:

He didn't say anything about "holy laughter." Seems to me that he was just having a good time.

Fair enough, I am hopeful that you will provide some feedback to my question but my stats will clearly reflect that I don't work hard enough at the great commission. The average number of people that the Lord brings to Himself through my personal day to day ministry has been about 1 person per year(not nearly what it should be). I am not counting those people who showed no outward change in their lives, only those who become truly committed to the Lord and begin reading their Bible, going to Church, and otherwise displaying "fruit".

Are you comfortable with answering my question?

I love Jack and Rexella. They are precious people that by all accounts, love the Lord and have a great love for people. That generation tends to be a little corny..Have you seen them do the Hokey, Pokey? :lol2
I personally am working on about 5 hard cases..They are coming around so I would say the Lord has them in His sights..I wish I had the words that would put them over the edge for a committment but so far, their time hasn't come.:sad

I love to listen to Jack and Rexella, but his comments favoring Catholic doctine bothers me. He called Mary the Mother of God, twice I believe, last week. I know Mary gave birth to Jesus and deserves our utmost respect, but to call her the Mother of God, something about that doesn't sound right with me. I've tried everyway possible to find things that are right in the Catholic faith, but find none. Their teachings and practices are unbiblical.
There is a phrase that I heard a while back that always makes sense after you think about it - "Follow The Money Trail". Think about it.

"Follow The Money Trail". Think about it.
Yep, I've thought about that aspect of it. Last stat I saw showed nearly 2-1 or 1.5-1 Catholic vs. Protestant.

So, for marketing, it doesn't surprise me if folk pump up RCC.

Don't know what's really up but when I saw that stat (it was like 62% vs. 39% or some such - somebody post it if you have the info).

I have a copy of Van Impe's book "Revelation Revealed" (which I believe is the word for word text of his VHS by the same name) from the early 90's and in Chapter 17 he spends considerable time on Mystery Babylon and targets Rome and Catholicism. His words are quite clear regarding their numerous herecies and false doctrines that have been added over the centuries; including Popes, Mass, Pergutory, Mary, etc.

I believe this book is still available from JVI ministries so I'm wondering if the same hard line position and uncompromising words are used in the current publication version(s).

I would LOVE to know the answer to that one! Thanks for posing the question. :hat Maybe someone will have the answer.
