The one talking more in the beginning is me (I sound so tired!!), then a lady from TX comes in to talk more. We were talking to 6 teens to maybe 20 year olds. We did a three day evangelism outreach at a ribfest with 500,000 people there.

This is great! I was praying for you and all who were fishing! I am curious as to how you recorded the encounter. Did you tell them you were recording? Did you just carry a tape recorder? (Hope these are not dumb questions) I would love to record some of my witness encounters.

Amy E. I just listened to the audio. God has given you such love and courage for others. What a wonderful testimony to us. I didn't think you sounded tired but really natural - not stilteld. I've witnessed to friends and relatives but I haven't been able to just approach a stranger and witness. So far the only thing is to be able to hand out tracks to strangers.

Hi! Thanks for praying for me and those with me. We SO NEED IT. It's a battle. I'll tell ya, most of the witnessing encounters go okay, but boy, had one guy who was yelling, "God is greater than Jesus!!!!!!!!" I ran up to the guy and showed him John 20:28 (which God reminded me of to show that Jesus did not rebuke Thomas for calling Him God... praise Him!!). He read it with me in front of hundreds of people and STILL said he didn't believe it. Oh, the deception. :pray

The other lady talking with me had recorded this. She usually says something like, "would you mind if I recorded this?" She mentions WayOfTheMasterRadio.com so they know they can be on national radio. I walked up a little late on this one, so I don't know what she told these teens (about 6 of 'em). The tape recorder is one of those that you can download onto the computer (or upload?? I don't know all that stuff). I'm gonna get one! Well, pray that hubby will give me some $ to get one! :aha Just tell your people that you would like to record it for a radio program and just wanted to let them know or ask them, etc. Then you'll have it handy to listen to yourself, put it online (oh, yeah, you can say that you might have it on a website!), and even send it to Todd Friel. People are full of themselves, so they're usually okay with it, I think. I just did one at a Chinese restaurant and recorded it with a cheap kind of recorder that doesn't do an MP3 and WOW, that was fun to hear again.

God has been so gracious in giving us the opportunities to talk to lost folks and give them tracts. :)

Here's another one that just got put up on the site. This guy was our valet at the hotel. He got us out of the car and asked what my shirt meant. I was wearing the "What If" shirt. So I made up these cards that say "What If" on one side then a question like, "If this was your last day on earth, what would you do" - just transitional cards I made. Anyway, he picked a card and then here is the recording when we started talking (I was so out of it from hours of witnessing; sorry if I found loopy LOL!!):
