Need help finding verse--day of the Lord...

I was falling asleep last night and out of the blue a verse rolled through my mind. I can't remember exactly what verse but i think it was Christ speaking and it was a warning that we should not be eager or anxious for the day of the Lord since the day of the Lord would be a day of terrible judgment.
Anyone know what verse this is?

Amos 5:18
[ The Day of the LORD ] Woe to you who long for the day of the LORD! Why do you long for the day of the LORD ? That day will be darkness, not light.

Not sure That you could find Chirst Talking of the day of the Lord since he would have to being talking of him self in the thrid part..

He always Spoke in terms of the father, Kingdom of God , and the sons of man, how ever I did find this that seems similar ..

Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Luk 17:22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
Luk 17:23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
Luk 17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
Luk 17:25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.
Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Keep in mind jesus Presents then was the day of the Lord :)
