Any other females love football???

Any other crazy female football fans out there? My husband's friends all get jealous cuz I actually like football more than he does and watch just about every game I can. Of course I catch every single Browns game. NFL Sunday ticket is my anniversary present every year. Just wonderin if there are any ladies out there like me???

I had never bothered taking the time to understand football and didn't particularly care for it. This drove my husband crazy because I love most sports. I told him I didn't understand the game.He told me that with a little effort I could learn to understand the game. Sounded to me like a challenge, perhaps even a dare. He was right. I put forth a little effort and now I love the game. Baseball was my first love and I still love it, but football is way more exciting.

I don't love it as much as hubby, but I enjoy sitting with him and watching. And I am understanding it way better now. I find that as I get to know the players better, the game becomes more fun. I don't like not knowing who I am cheering for. :lol2

So I used to sit with him while he watched because I knew it was important to him, but I would just zone out at the tv. :lol2
Now I find I enjoy watching, and understanding it and it makes his day and puts a smile on his face that I sit and do that with him when Football is on. Which puts a smile on my face. :)

I absolutely LOVE football!! I watch it every week with my youngest DS. DH likes football too but doesn't really watch it and isn't into it like me.

My family does a competition every year. We pick who we think will win. At the end of the year, the person with the best record gets to eat at the restaurant of their choice.

My teams are the Vikings and the Colts (and NO I am not a bandwagoner - been a fan of the Colts since I was 7).

I go through major withdrawals when football season is over.

As much as I love football - I love hockey even more!

No....and I like it even less each year. I like to go to the high school football games...where I know the players. But....come the regular football season, my dh is watching the games with others...like his bro or uncle. I get to stay at home with our kiddos. THEN.....there is fantasy football where he is involved with 3 leagues, and whatever else comes from it. Football means that I am alone fending for the kids when hubby takes up yet something else.

Dh likes it and watches it, but doesn't LOVE IT:aha

And K2 was fantastic last year, tying Ozzie Newsome for the most receptions in a single season in franchise history. Can't wait to see what he's gonna do this year! :cheer :yeah

I get the NFL ticket every year too - I don't know how I ever lived without it! It is worth every penny to see my Browns every Sunday!!

Uh it's okay but i would rather sit down to a Monk Marathon.. :yay I wouldn't mind going to a game sometimes, but i like basketball better.

BUT my family, including my DD LOVESSSSSS football!! We are a football family.. Hubby also plays a Fantasy league every year, he's won two years in a row. :thumb
