I live in Michigan. I am so grateful that my house was paid off at the time of my divorce 10 years ago. I am currently unemployed, but God has been good to us and we've never wanted for the necessary things. We are very blessed!

Christian author and evangelist Grant Jeffrey wrote a book called The Economy to Come that said this kind of thing would happen.

Hubbo and I have been saying this for a while now. It's not just in Michigan though. Forclusure rates are up all over the country.

Varies too greatly on the circumstances... but regardless, if you're stretched to the max already... doesn't matter how much they go up.. you'll still go broke.
